Dear Port Klang*Net users,

Please be informed that effective from 2nd May 2013, Port Klang*Net shall implement the below:

1. Verification on SCN application against PSA and Vessel ID
Only the PSA of the particular vessel ID are allow to apply SCN. If you are the new PSA for a vessel pls make sure you have to apply for new Vessel ID and use the new vessel ID to apply SCN. SCN application with PSA does not match with PSA for vessel ID shall be auto rejected by the system.

2. “Claim Vessel" module shall be added under the “Vessel ID Application” to allow you to claim the existing Vessel ID with incomplete details that are belong to you. After you have successfully claimed the vessel (write officially to LPK for approval), please proceed to Vessel ID Amendment to update and submit the vessel details. You are allow to apply SCN using the same Vessel ID once you have successfully claimed the vessel ID and submitted the amendment.

Dear Port Klang*Net users,

Please be informed that Port Klang*Net has implemented verification on Call Sign since Feb 2013. Call Sign is not allowed to be filled up as ".", "*" or "NIL". For barge that does not have a Call Sign, users are advised to fill up the Call Sign as "BARGE". System shall auto reject the SCN applicaiton if the Call Sign when applying Vessel ID does not match with the Call Sign when applying SCN.

Data-length of Call Sign has been enlarged from 6-Alphanumeric to 8-Alphanumeric. This is to ensure the integrity of the Vessel Information Database. This being the case, when SA applies for Vessel ID, please keyin the full Call Sign (ranging from 6-Alphanumeric to 8-Alphanumeric).
